DVA: RISE Peer Feedback

I chose to Tracey Okwereogu’s Digital story for my peer review. You did a great job and I really like your stuff. The story of an art project and who she is as an artist is well expressed in your video portrait. I also like the entire mood created by yellow and orange color light. These things made me want to revisit my own video to add voice-over and change some video effects in adobe premiere pro.

When you made this video, have you ever considered how the music and voice-over can support your video portrait more professionally?

You might consider using more good quality voice-over to reveal her story clearly as stated Rene in the today’s class. In addition, the volume of voice-over is weaker than the music. If you consider this when you revise audio mix, it makes your video get a better quality.

Perhaps you can expand this video portrait by showing off her deeper story. I would like to know more about her art story. For example, when did she start drawing? or why did she start working as an artist? These will be a great way to influence audiences through your video portrait. Overall, your video portrait with her art is very awesome.
