This lesson "Foundations of UX: Content Strategy" is related to the work I will be creating content for my fictitious business. Learning strategic content is important to develop successful web content for my fictions company from text and audiovisual content to social interactions and metadata.

From this lesson, I learned some useful points to create a content strategy. The first thing is that I could learn about the content strategy specifically. From explaining the evolution of content strategy from 15th century to 19th century, I could know the role of content strategy, and set right direction. The second thing is an understanding voice. According to the lecture, website and other content resources have a voice. It is defined by an expression of the brand it represents, so it is very important to develop a content strategy. The last thing is understanding and shaping the tone. Like voice, the tone is also important. Whereas voice is consistent across a digital experience, the tone is variable depending upon the context in which content is discovered. When the voice and tone combines, it will be the content style.

The topic I would like to know more is about content auditing because it is hard to understand for me. According to this lesson, a content audit is the best place to start to work with existing content, however, I couldn't get how can I use and analyze it.

From this lesson, I could get right direction to fictitious scenario I am working on. The important points that I will keep in mind and apply are getting to know the content, developing personas, building style guide, defining my audience, and being a user advocate. Also, I will start to create my content strategy, while knowing who my audience is and what they are looking for.
