For this activity, I chose 3 keywords in my web site to research in Google Trends. It allows me to know how the keywords may affect to my website.

I chose 3 keywords of Marketing, Communication, and Digital Media because those 3 keywords are the most interest fields to me and they are related to my major of Media Communication.

According to the Google Trends, in the past 5 years, Marketing was the highest keyword and Communication was the second highest and Digital Media was the lowest. For Marketing, in the area of the interest, it was the most popular in Peru with 34%, and Canada and the United States had the second highest interest rates with 26% following the Peru. For Communication, Zimbabwe had the highest rate with 100%, and Zambia was 88%, and Cameroon was 73%. Countries of the interest for communication were totally different with Marketing. Interest rate of United States was 13% and Canada was 12% for Communication. Lastly, for Digital Media, interest rates of the United States and Canada was higher than Marketing and Communication. The interest rate was 51% in Canada and 44% in the United States.

From these results, I could know that using keywords of Marketing and Digital Media would be effective on my website compared to communication if I set my target audience in the United States and Canada. However, I should also consider using the keyword of communication if I want to set my target audience globally including Africans because it was the second highest keyword in the world following the Marketing. Overall, this researching process was very helpful to me.
